Volkswagen Scirocco R is the impressive combination of the perfect engine and chassis with unique and outstanding features. The new Volkswagen Scirocco R uses a turbocharged 4-cylinder unit TSI. Its advantages are very high power, torque and significantly low fuel consumption, which is about 8,3 liters for 100 km.


Like the other TSI engines, R-version combinate the effectiveness of the direct injection with a turbine power. 2,0 l. TSI engine reaches the top power of 265 hoursepower at 6000 r/min. The maximum torque is 350 Nm. Oval chromed exhaust pipes are located on the sides of the body.


Gasoline 4-cylinder TSI engine (1984 cm3) had won the award "Engine of the Year" four times.


Lightweight (1333 kg) Volkswagen Scirocco R needs only 6 seconds to disperse from 80 km/h to 120 km/h (on the 5th gear). The car accelerates up to 100 km/h during 6.5 seconds.


Optionally Volkswagen Scirocco R is equipped with DSG (dual-clutch transmission).


Front suspension is McPherson, the rear one is four-link suspension.
Optionally Scirocco R will be available with the system of dynamic chassis control (DCC). This system constantly regulates the cushioning of the wheels to the terms of the road, which is based on received signals from 3 body sensors and also the displacement sensors on each wheel. The DCC significantly increases your comfort in situations which do not require permanent management of the car, finding a compromise between the rigid sport setting and comfortable one. Not considering the normal mode settings, the driver can also select Sport or Comfort mode.


The standard equipment includes new 18-inch 235/40 wheels (Talladega type, named in honor of the American racetrack).
Also the ventilated disc brakes with larger diameter are used. ESP also been changed. The night track will be illuminate by the diode lights.


The interior of Volkswagen Scirocco R is madeof  the elements of the interior of 6th generation Gold (steering wheel, power, climate control and multimedia complex).
